FELLOWSHIPS AND COMISSIONS
Venice Biennale Fellowship 2019
British Council
Wrote project proposal, went through interview process and was selected for artist programme. Received curatorial and health and safety training in London and Venice.
Lived and worked in Venice for a summer at the UK artist installation in the British Pavillion for the Bienalle and researched and produced a body of work, Sublime Intervention.
Illuminate Project Legacy 2018
I developed a photography network in East Yorkshire for people of all backgrounds and abilities, and successfully funded artists to make work in response to Hull City of Culture 2017.
I worked with Redeye Photography Network to hold an artist presentation and debate event in the city, with an audience including members of the public, arts organisations and the council.
Light Night Leeds 2014
Developed an installation funded by Leeds City Council for their Shine and Spark emerging artist programe for the annual light night event.
Received professional arts curatorial and funding application training, including mentorship.
Succesfully installed the work and received positive feedback from visitors. Completed funding and project reporting.
