Lumen in Motion.

A moving image piece of the Lumen project was shown at Creator College in Hull City Centre in 2016 as part of their arts festival, and as a culmination of my artist residency in their studio. Click the picture above to be taken to the video piece – it is best viewed full screen and it lasts almost eight minutes, roughly the same amount of time that it takes a photon to travel to earth from the sun.

The room was cast into total darkness, the only light coming from a projection of the video piece onto three screens that the audience could walk around and interact with, becoming part of the experience and work themselves. Click the image above or here to see the short film.
