Verity Adriana

Hi there! I am a visual artist from Yorkshire in the UK. I make my work using photography and instillation and explore themes around place and the sublime, the metaphysical and existential connections. I am fascinated by the magic of photography, and the possibilities it can facilitate as a medium. I consider myself a visual artist who uses the camera to explore the boundaries of the medium and create works.

I grew up in both East Yorkshire and The Middle East which has given me a broad experience of culture and place. At fourteen I moved back to Yorkshire independently and studied for my exams, before later going to university to study photography. Later I achieved Distinction grade in MA Creative Practice from Leeds Arts University which  helped me develop my creative practice, academic skills, understanding and networks. I have exhibited  and published works internationally, and have taught on and led BA Hons Photography courses in Yorkshire and the Midlands.
